Hola people. The last couple of weeks have been kinda hectic for us, although most of the work has been done backstage and not on the site. We've been working on two upgrages to the site, and a moment before they're up there, we'd like to hear your thoughts about them.

1. We've redesigned our landing page (the homepage that you see when you're not logged in to ILCU). Here's a sketch, please share your thoughts on the new design. it includes rotating images posted by you guys on the page, so you better post cool photos!



2. We've made a contacts management app, mainly for event promoters, but everyone is welcome to use it. It allows you to import your contacts from an email client (in CSV format), manage them, divide them into groups, and send them invitations to ILCU or to specific events. It's not 100% complete yet, but feel free to play with it and tell us what you think.
Once you're logged in to ilcu, simply go to http://www.ilcu.com/contacts.php
and play with it a bit.

New updates on the site

1. Updated the venue categories list to include much more categories.

2. Added a "Block this user" function. This is done from the profile of the user you want to block. The "blockee" won't be able to send messages and invitations to the "blocker".

3. Improved the "invite a friend page, you can now include tons of recipients per invitation. Although in firefox, the maximum number is 3. Yup, this will be fixed soon!
